Had a great time mixing “Wanderer”, a song by Big In Borneo, UK based artist and producer.
His music is quite calming, with many elements from nature, nicely blended with electronics. Had the chance to work on his music a couple of times as well.
You can listen on “Big In Borneo – Wanderer” on Spotify, iTunes and more.

A tech company member reached out asking me to remix a song for a product presentation.
They had an original song (an indie rock mix) and wanted additional remixes for new product presentation videos. One of the reasons for having me on board is because of my background with percussion and “exotic” instrumentation.
After receiving the multi-tracks I started working on it and came up with two slightly different versions. One had more percussion elements, sounding more raw in a way, which we decided to move forward with.
The song bellow is an alternative version (based on the original indie rock mix I got). I used many libraries, a couple of raw recordings and soft synths for percussion. For the melodic part, I recorded a couple of guitars
Final audio was mastered, to be used in a video presentation of a product by Autokroma Limited, Canada.

“A Tragédia do Rei Ricardo III” was a theater play in which I was involved as a Sound designer, composer and live operator.
The play, by William Shakespeare, was directed by Pedro Galiza and Inês S. Pereira and produced by Núcleo de Expressão Dramática d’A Filantrópica, at Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal.
Process and Goals
The music of the play was very dark and sinister, to convey the feel and spirit of the character Richard III, across the different acts of the play.
To compose the soundtrack, I recorded many sounds, some from instruments played in “unusual ways”, in order to create atmospheric textures. These textures would then be bent, with changes in pitch, some reversed and other with a couple of delays on top for a dronish feel.
